The design of this is just adorable:  like a dolly-sized professional make-up artist’s box.  (The two quarters ‘swing out’ sideways, to reveal the luminous highlighter below.

The eight shades are brilliant spins on classic neutrals, with three shimmering shades to set the eyes sparklingly and flatteringly alight.  (Trust us:  the Christmas party is no place for a matte eye.  If you can’t glimmer under the mistletoe, where can you…?)  Think:  silver-y mauve, pearlised grey plum, light grey, medium grey-violet, a deep, dark, sexy brown-black, for smokin’ eyes – and more.)

The shimmer powder itself looks pretty when very, very lightly dusted over the décolletage with a big, fat, fluffy brush – if you don’t want to apply it to cheeks.

It’s limited edition, so be quick.  Because this is something that grown-up dolls and Bobbi fans everywhere are going to want to get their hands on.

‘Cos she’s done it AGAIN.

Cute.  V-e-r-y cute.

Think:  stylish, magnetically-closed palette.  (Not just emblazoned with owls on the outside – which as you may have noticed are the creature emblem du jour this season – but even the shadows themselves have owlish outlines.)

Think:  wearable shades, in lovely, soft textures, including soft bronze, shiny silver, dark blue and a good neutral flesh tone.

Think:  just £7.50.

Woo-hoo!  As our owl friends would say…

Our testers for The Green Beauty Bible love Dr.Hauschka – and so we do.  Great ethics, great products (and a great bunch of people).

Their hefty glass jars aren’t terribly travel-friendly, though, so we welcome these two more petite versions of some Dr.H bestsellers:  Limited Edition Facial Toner, and Limited Edition Cleansing Milk.

Just right for slipping into your spongebag – and, at just 30 ml each, AOK for in-flight use, too:  they’ll get past even the pickiest airport security staff.

The Cleansing Milk is wonderful for dry (sun-parched?) skin, with its sweet almond oil base to lock in moisture.  And though we’re not generally toner fans, this one – featuring witch hazel and anthyllis -  is fab as an instant freshener (try keeping it in your mini-bar for an even more cooling action).  They’re also great introductory options to the range:  sort of try-before-you-buy-the-big-one.

Some of the best things really do come in small parcels, now.

UK readers find Dr.Hauschka Limited Edition Cleansing Milk and Dr. Hauschka Limited Edition Facial Toner at www.drhauschka.co.uk/£9.95 each for 30 ml – just click here

There isn’t a woman alive who doesn’t love this hand cream.

Or if there is, we haven’t met her.

And a little bird tells us that maybe, just maybe, this is what The Queen herself uses to pamper her paws after all that manic hand-shaking.  (Clarins have long held the Royal Warrant, although beyond that:  Our.  Lips.  Are.  Sealed.)

What we can say is that to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee, Clarins is offering a bumper-sized limited edition tube – and not only will you save a chunky £12 on the price of the equivalent number of slatherings, but they’ll give £1 per tube to support the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (which rewards inspirational craftsmanship, to nurture British talent).

Certainly, this super-smoothing cream ticks all the boxes:  it is ultra-nourishing, smells absolutely and totally gorgeous, and is packed with botanicals like Japanese mulberry extract (targets pigmention) and myrrh (a known nail-strengthener).  Crucially, it sinks in really fast to leave hands ultra-soft.  None of those embarrassing moments where you’ve applied your hand cream and can’t turn the handle to get out of the loo.

Not that HM goes to the loo, of course…
